The Haywood Chamber of Commerce presented the Junaluska Animal Hospital with the Business of the Month Award for November 2016 during the Chamber’s monthly Issues & Eggs program. Steve McNeil, Haywood Chamber of Commerce Board Member said, “They have four doctors seeing pets every twenty minutes, plus surgeries, plus emergencies. They take care of a lot of our “fur babies”. They do a lot of great things with our pet population in Haywood County. On the business side, they offer their employees 401k plans, vacation time, discounts on services, and a competitive insurance plan.”
Dr. Jeffrey Alt and Suzanne Cianciulli of the Junaluska Animal Hospital accepted the award.
Dr. Jeffrey Alt said, “I am the newest partner I am so grateful for the team that came before me, that I am now a part of, I am also grateful for this community.” Suzanne Ciancilli echoed his words but included, ” Thank you guys so much. We are very honored with this award. We have carried on the tradition since 1953 of community and providing services that are affordable, so that owners and pets can get the services they need. Thank you again for honoring us.”
